About Me
I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Helmholtz Munich, Germany. I earned my PhD from the University of Udine, Italy in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Before that, I served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and IT at The University of Lahore, Pakistan. I hold an MS in Computer Science with a focus on Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning from Pakistan Institue of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
I have over seven years of experience in computational imaging and multimodal biomedical image analysis. My research focuses on developing next-generation foundation models for cancer diagnostics by integrating heterogeneous biomedical data and agentic AI systems. My goal is to advance translational healthcare by designing robust, scalable AI methods that improve diagnostic accuracy and support clinical decision-making. I have led and contributed to end-to-end AI projects, spanning model development, deployment, and interdisciplinary collaboration with clinical and research teams. I am particularly interested in building AI systems that bridge methodological innovation and real-world clinical impact, while fostering collaborative, open, and inclusive research environments.
